VizRED is the digital media brand founded and nurtured by two successful bloggers, respected digital marketing consultants and web developers, Lee Hodson and Blanca Stella Mejia
Lee and Blanca met online through their blogs and recognized soon after their first few web development conversations that their complimentary skills would work better together in a combined business than individually in their separate business enterprises; and so was born VizRED.
Meet us and say hello. We are a here to make authentic connections here at VizRED.

Lee Hodson
Co-founder of the digital media and web development company VizRED. Lee is a web developer from the UK who specializes in WordPress and Magento site development.
Lee’s love affair with IT began as a toddler in the 70′s when his dad bought a games console for the family to play Pong. Throughout the 80′s, Lee played with 8-bit computers like the Atari 800XL, Amstrad CPC464, ZX Spectrum +2 and Tatung Einstein through which he learned to program in BASIC.
Lee’s vocational endeavours took as many twists and turns as a roller coaster before he eventually returned to his first love of technology and IT.
After college, Lee worked in IT support, office administration, cargo loading, flight planning, college class auditing, SATS test marking, staff supervising, dangerous goods management, sales and several other vocations with varying levels of responsibility.
If one thing can be said of Lee, it is that he loves variety and solving problems.
Lee’s first proper venture into web development began in the Netherlands in 2005/6 when he built a basic website to support his travel booking services for the British ex-pats he worked alongside within Polar Air Cargo and Menzies Aviation at Schiphol airport.
After returning to the UK, Lee decided to put his technical skills to good use and make a proper living out of them. He registered his business name of Hodson Holdings, learned HTML and PHP then began building websites for a living.
After trying Joomla, SMF and self-written dynamic PHP content management systems, Lee discovered the magic of WordPress and invested his time in WordPress development. Lee has been creating with WordPress since early 2008 and has several WordPress plugins hosted in the WordPress plugin repositories.
Lee frequently writes for his personal website (JournalXtra) about web development, WordPress, Linux and other subjects from the realm of Geekdom.
