Simple edits, quickly made; no need to go all the way into a WordPress post or page to edit basic attributes: there are quick edit options built into WordPress.
Quick Edit is available in most edit screens.

Wherever you see a list of,
- posts,
- pages,
- users,
- categories,
- tags,
- products,
- attributes,
- images…
Almost any screen that shows a list of manageable content elements has a quick edit option.
Click Quick Edit in the post list screen to change the post title, post slug, date, author details, post categories, tags and more.

Use Quick Edit in the Comments screen (Dashboard > Comments) to edit the comment, comment author, comment author’s website and author’s email address.
